Hey everyone, just trying to spread the word on Mega Man Perfect Harmony and our other projects!

We are also trying to create many different graphic novels, including Shadow of Azrael, which will also be turned into a free fighting game!

I am Rock (aka Rud). I am the founder of rocksclan.com, and work day in and out on various masterpieces. A lot of the imagination and creativity comes largely in part from a number of talented friends who are helping me along the way, namely my bandmates James, Chon, and Murdoch, as well as my cousin ruwin. There is also a great deal of innovation and creativity on my part, which I bring forth from beyond the boundaries of this realm that you perceive.

My goal is to create the greatest forms of art and entertainment the world has ever known. This includes free to play four player cooperative fan games, maps and servers for other free to play games, as well as original epic sagas of our own creation. Our aim is to bring to you the most intense and extreme forms of entertainment in known history.

I live my life on the edge, it has been a very intense ride for me, beyond imagination. But I will see this through to the very end, that these goals are accomplished despite any boundaries or limitations. Here is a list of our current projects.

Our all genre encompassing metal band that creates most of the original soundtracks and scores of our following work.

////ROCKS CUSTOM MAPS
We create and inspire others to create original content for a free to download First Person Shooter. Urban Terror was once a Quake 3 Arena mod, but has now become a free to download game with a design similar to Counter Strike. It also easily allows you to download custom content, which we host the best of on our servers.

////RUDS RAILS
Originally a mod for Quake 3 Arena under many different names (Instaunlagged, Reactance, Revolution, Instagib, RCTF) Ruds Rails is a project I’ve been working on for years that will soon be a free to download game just like Urban Terror is now. Based on the Revolution mod which seeked to combine all of the elements under one name, this lightspeed intense game of Instagib allows you to trick jump and move very quickly and fluidly. The game itself is mainly oriented around Capture The Flag, and is very fast and for highly skilled gamers, as each and every shot you fire is a one hit kill.

////LUNA
A text based intricately designed RPG that is played with IRC, created by ruwin.

////DAYBREAK
Based on an IRC roleplay, this story will also become a science fiction Graphic Novel, as well as a classic retro style 16-bit RPG with many advancements and innovations never seen before to date.

////THE SHADOW OF AZRAEL
An immense saga that will take the form of Graphic Novels, as well as a 4 player fighting game combining elements from Street Fighter, Smash Bros Melee, Dragon Ball Z, and Final Fantasy.

////THROES OF LOKI
Set in modern day New York, Loki is a story about the son of corporate giants who thrives on the chaos and manipluation of society. It is not until he discovers true love that his life spins completely out of his control.

////FUME
Set in the 22nd century, the entire global populace has become enslaved by their own animalistic desires and their addiction to a new drug that consumes their body and soul.

////BLUE
Set 6 million years in the future, a new race of men has evolved and begun to explore and discover a New World submerged in water. Our heroes are a gang of pirates that must seek out ancient technology known as artifacts before they fall into the hands of evil.

////TOROS
Set in a very high fantasy setting, Toros is a rogue wizard that seeks to become the most powerful, all knowing magician that had ever lived. Normally men who devote themselves to this are forced to isolate themselves and study inside of towers for a majority of their lives, but Toros learns through experience and adventure. His wild, ammoral ambitions and desires runs free, as his wicked lust for power teaches him many lessons throughout his life.

////RUINATION
Set in the year 1999, all of the electricity suddenly turns off, as the entire nation is left helpless to circumstances beyond their control. A mother must do everything she can to ensure the safety of her children, as the entire world transforms around her.

////MEGA MAN PERFECT HARMONY
A 4 player fan game that ties together the events of the Classic, X, and Zero series in a retro 8-bit style.

////THE LEGEND OF ZELDA – LINK’S CRUSADE
A retro style 4 player Zelda fan game, with 8-bit graphics and appearance but also containing advanced features and gameplay.

////METROID – ZEBES MISSION
A retro 8-bit style 4 player Metroid fan game, with advanced features and gameplay.

////CASTLEVANIA – QUARTET OF DESPAIR
A 4-player Castlevania game which takes place chronologically shortly after the events of Casltevania III.

////CONTRA – FALL OF RED FALCON
A 4-player fan game that pulls out all of the stops.

////SUPER MARIO – STAR POWER
A 4-player retro fan game that is on the backburner (because I dont want nintendo to sue me).

////HYPER SONIC
A 4-player fan game with a more zoomed out field of view so that you can see everything that lies ahead as you fly at super sonic speeds.

////FINAL FANTASY 66
A heavily modified, intense and difficult version of my personal favorite game, Final Fantasy 6. Ruwin and I used a much better, retranslated script as a base for this hack, and spent several years perfecting and completing this project.

////FINAL FANTASY TACTICS type R
Ruwins work of love, a heavily modified Final Fantasy Tactics with many gameplay fixes and innovations.

////RUDS DOOM
An extremely intensified version of DooM, featuring faster gameplay, millions of enemies, and original level designs by RUD.

////Mega Man Rock
A mod of Mega Man 4, originally meant to be the first of a series of games, but later abandoned due to the number of greater upcoming projects. This game however is completed and available for download.

First of all, thank you to everyone for keeping up with me! I’m sorry it has been kind of dead around here lately, but things have kind of settled down a bit more for me, so I should start posting more again :D

Also, big thanks once again to Annwn and Vmp for keeping us afloat!! One day I will repay you both in person for saving the day! Drinks on the house XD

And as for my new game plan… Until now I’ve been spending every second of my free time on numerous projects, all of which are each meant to be amazing, mind-blowing masterpeices in their own right. But the stress on my mind and body is proving to be a bit much, so I’ve been thinking over new strategies…

Perhaps, instead of a full release on my birthday, 11-11-11, I could release a solid, stable demo of our 4-player retro fangame Mega Man Perfect Harmony. This will not only give me more time to make sure the game is 100% perfect, but also get a playable version out there for everyone to experience.

Another plus side to this strategy, is that I can also release very simple barebones demo’s of my other 4-player retro fan games (including 4P 8-bit Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Castlevania, Contra). So, while Perfect Harmony’s demo release will be massive, I can also release that day or shortly after these small betas of my other amazing 4-player games.

Also, this will give me more time to work on my magnum opus, The Shadow of Azrael, which will take the form of both a graphic novel and an independently made fighting game. This will be a 4-player fighting game with a fluid animation style similar to SNK, and a fighting engine which could only be compared to Super Smash Bros Melee. This game will incorporate innovative features and many other elements from games such as Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, and Dragon Ball Z.

And all of this is being done entirely for free by yours truly, as usual XD along with lots of help from my closest and extremely talented friends! These are our labors of love for the games of the future!

I’m not sure which path I should take just yet, but these are the options I have ahead of me! I wont let something as hollow and meaningless as a degree stop me from accomplishing my goals and bringing these dreams to life! Thanks again to everyone keeping up! Peace!

Thousands of years ago the corruption and power of Magic brought upon The Planet Terra countless wars and eternal struggle. Until the day came that Lord Thelenus, a man whose power seemed greater than The Gods themselves, swiftly brought an end to all of the conflicts of the world.

Rumors swept quickly across the lands of “The Chosen One” of ancient prophecy. Although there were those who still dared to defy him, the entire world in the end had no choice but to bow to this mysterious new power.

But it was at this moment, when the pain and suffering had seemingly come to an end, that an Ancient Deity defied all of the laws of creation, descending upon this plane of existence during the night of a lunar eclipse.

Scorpius, who’s deep hatred for all that is unjust, had witnessed the billions of lives slain, the vanquishing of countless forms of life, and with it felt every ounce of suffering brought on by mankind’s endless wars. He who had sat in judgment of all mortals could no longer tolerate the immense evil of this world. And so, no longer a judge upholding the balance of nature, Scorpius became an agent of pure hatred and condemnation. With his limitless power, He vowed to plunge existence in its entirety therein to nothingness.

Miraculously enough however, Thelenus, the man that should not be, waged a monumental battle that shook apart even the largest continents of Terra. Finally, Thelenus came to defeat Scorpius, becoming a legend that would be forever worshipped amongst all of the men of Planet Terra.

But little is known about the true history of Thelenus, and shortly after the defeat of Scorpius, both of these supernatural beings, along with the very essence of Magic Power itself, disappeared forever.

Thousands of years have passed, and mankind has rebuilt, multiplied, and spread across every distant land. Higher technology is discovered, as a newer, more civilized world was formed.

However, even though billions populate the world today, nearly every one of their minds lay in corruption. Each and every one of them share a belief that they possess a greater knowledge of the world than that of men from the past, but this could not be further from the truth. The very idea of Magic is seen as impractical, illogical, and without there being any proof of it’s existence, is widely denied to be true by every single religion and nation.

Above all of the powers of the Modern World stands a tyrannical Empire, ripe with evil, breeding darkness and spreading it into the hearts of the entire global populace. The great city of Melderus carries out the will of The Empire, the wicked desires of men with intense greed and power, all under the guise of the name of good. The entire world is lead down these dark paths, living out their lives unaware of the evil they manifest. The mind’s of every citizen from Melderus truly believe all of the lies they are told and the fabricated reality that The Empire has created for them. A majority of these individuals to this day cling to the customs of a religion that worships a false retelling of the historic events of Thelenus.

And so, everything that was once written before in ancient prophecy has now come to pass. Is it truly the fate of all men, who’s weak hearts have failed them time and time again, to bring upon Terra this certain doom they themselves created? Is the fate of all life on this planet already written, forever stranded in jeopardy, spiraling down a path towards it’s inevitable demise?

Though mankind may deny it, it is certain that the end times have finally arrived.
It is the year 2010, the beginning of the end, the time of Armageddon.

Even Terra’s many bloody wars from long ago cannot compare to the turmoil and suffering in store for all living things. Never before have so many people sat so helplessly, and without any hope of changing the world.

But if evil should be allowed to continue unleashing its damage upon the planet, is there no one else strong enough to stand up against it? Who among all of mankind would fight a battle with no hope of winning? Has Terra’s fate always been sealed, all of creation merely a painful existence forever doomed to fall into eternal darkness?
